New Gallery Photos - Orion Pompey

Mrs Verschoren opted for Orion Pompey wall panels for her bathroom refurbishment.

"Thought you might like to see the attached before and after photos of my bathroom.  I am extremely impressed with these panels.  They were easy for me to put up on my own and the end effect is lovely.  They have transformed an old fashioned, cold bathroom into a modern warm one!  The old tiles had not been put up properly by a previous owner and I was able to literally pull them off with my hands and the wall above the bath was only partly tiled. Consequently water was leaking behind the tiles and going under the bath.  Now with these panels, there are no leaks!

I am extremely pleased with my purchase, a brilliant product, and would like to also thank you for your quick delivery."

Here are some before and after shots from her project:

Vicenza Grey - Gallery Photos

We have just had some photos sent in from Mr Cummins in Merseyside of his completed bathroom.

He used our Vicenza Grey panels for the refurbishment and installed them over his existing tiles above his bath area.

"I found the wall panels to be easy to install over my existing tiles.  The finished result looks great."

The area is used for showering so there is a shower mixer on the wall and a glass bath screen used to keep the shower spray inside the bath.

Further Additions To Our Customer Gallery

We have added a few more images to our customer gallery including this one from a customer who also took some "before" photos so you can see the transformation that has taken place.

The customer has removed tiles from the wall that had previously been used to decorate the walls - it would appear that the tiles were not fitted the whole way up the wall (a common feature in many bathrooms). This can cause problems if you were to re-tile these walls as the area where tiles have been removed will have adhesive and grout present that will make the surface bumpy. This would be unsuitable for tiling over as any imperfections will make the tiles kick out and look uneven. With our wall panels this is not an issue as they can be fitted over a variety of substrates and will cope with any lumps and bump. If the wall is smooth the panels can be stuck by running a "snake" of adhesive on the back. If the wall is not so flat then blobs of adhesive can be applied to the back of the panels - the panels are then pushed home and will find their own level, covering over the imperfections.

A new bath and a small, neat vanity unit has been installed along with our Spaceline Silver Grey panels which has resulted in a light, bright and neutral looking bathroom.

Tile Effect Panels - Improved Photos

We are in the process of improving the images for our tile effect panels - Florentine.

When this product was launched the manufacturers did not supply any photos so we have added a few ourselves. Unfortunately this panel is particularly hard to capture as the grout lines are quite subtle and need to be seen close up to appreciate the design.

The first of the images has now been added and we will be adding more in the near future.

Neptune Shower Wall Panels

Until very recently PVC panels were only available in relatively narrow widths. These panels were tongue and grooved so they slotted together to provide a waterproof surface. Many customers prefer to have a larger panel - especially in showers - so manufacturers started to make wider sizes which has resulted in the 1 metre wide panels that we see today.

To achieve this width, the gauge of the plastic had to be increased which results in a stiffer and more heavy duty panel than was the norm previously. Obviously this is a great benefit from a durability point of view but there are a few downsides: panels are slightly more expensive; they are a little more difficult to maneuver into place; they cannot be bent around corners as the plastic is not flexible enough. But these are only minor issues.

Neptune Grey Marble shower wall panels

If the panels need to run across a wall that is wider than 1 metre there are still tongue and grooved edges so they can be slotted together without the need for a joining strip, which makes for a very neat finish.

So you are looking for inexpensive, easy to live with shower wall panels then Neptune are the obvious choice.

Ceiling Panels With Chrome Strip

Everyone knows that keeping a bathroom ceiling in pristine condition can be a bit of a chore as the moist, humid conditions can cause traditional coverings to deteriorate. Paint can start to flake, wooden tongue and groove can start to split and textured ceilings can start to develop mould spots.

Our range of ceiling panels can help eliminate these problems as they require no maintenance - just a quick wipe over with a soft cloth now and again.

White ceilings tend to be the most popular with our Blanca range being the obvious choice if you want to have a plain, matt finish. If you would prefer a gloss finish then our Labo panels are ideal and are available in a range of lengths to suit all different bathroom sizes. We have a chrome effect infill strip that can be used with Labo which are used if you want to make a feature of the ceiling rather just leaving in as a plain white.

There is now a second option if you want a chrome infill as we have just added Vicenza White-Chrome panels to our range. These have the chrome strip built-in to the panel - there is nothing to clip on separately. They have a 2 plank, v-groove appearance and are available in two different lengths 2.7m and 5.4m.

These are a very attractive (and very reasonable priced) panel and are now available for immediate delivery:

Grosfillex Wall & Ceiling Panels

Unfortunately we are currently unable to supply any products form this manufacturer. The importer through which we bought these panels has ceased trading but we are in the process of trying to find a new source of this range.

In the meantime there are plenty of alternative panels within our range that are similar in design and these are listed on each of the Grosfillex product pages.
